If you are a passionate builder like myself, you may be tired of being frozen for 5 seconds when placing walls/blocks too fast. I think it is a good idea to remove this with Buildmode since it can get irritating after a while.
I would agree with you, but it’s to keep you from lagging the server, same goes for mining speed, but for build mode, I think that this freezing should be turned off, just for the purpose of building, not mining.
