Hi, I’m DaGuyWithDaShadow and I’d like to be promoted to the Helper rank. Below are the reasons why I’d like to recieve this promotion:
[Q1] What is your in-game name?
My in-game name is DaGuyWithDaShadow and I am currently in the Crew rank. I chose it since it’s my Steam account username and I thought it’d help people contact me on both Steam and Terraria.
[Q2] How often are you on the server?
Whilst I am very inactive on the forums, I am on the server regularly - at least once a day, whenever possible. If not, then it’s only because my internet access is restricted or a bug may cause the server unplayable.
[Q3] Why do you want to be a Helper?
I’d like to become a Helper so I can use more of the available commands in the server’s plug-in to aid other people’s projects. This will help me build more easily but also to help other people out. And since the name implies, now that I’ve learnt most of the basic commands and how they work, I’d like to use this rank so others know that I’m ready to help them if it is possible.
[Q4] Will you prioritize helping others and answering questions over other things?
Yes, because I understand that (as the name implies) that my top priority is to help others and to act as a sensible role model for any future Helpers. I will also be ready to answer questions put forward to me and try and find a solution, no matter how tedious they may be.
[Q5] Do you think you have sufficient knowledge to answer many questions that are put to you?
I believe I have sufficient knowledge on many commands that other people may struggle to use. For example, I can help or introduce people to the Protection plugin and how to use it. Also, I can help people set up and establish home teleports. Plus, I know an extensive range of useful items that some may find hard to find or spell. My one weakness to this however is that I always spell gray as “grey”, due to my British English upbringing.
[Q6] Tell us about you?
I’ll try and use as much detail in answering this without revealing any private information. I live in England, so that means I’ll be able to stay active when most of the team’s staff may be inactive. I enjoy computer games and I especially like platformers like Terraria. I am also a music producer (my alias is SpicyChorizo) and I use FL Studio 11 to compose songs. I am currently in high school but I plan on studying Forensic Computing in college and university, which will teach me lots of useful computer techniques and languages - some of these skills I may even be able to utilize in future admin work on this server.
