Mathematics of the Economy

Note that this is a manually written list and may not always be 100% accurate. It may also not contain all the details about how the economy works. It should however provide good insight into what you need to consider when looking to earn DP.

Player

Earn Multipliers

The daily gain limit is 10,000 DP and resets at the same time for everyone every 24 hours. Currently there is no specific time of the day. Once you’ve earned 10,000 DP in the current 24 hour period, your multiplier is set to 0, and is reset when the next period begins.

If the player has more than 5000 DP then the following applies:

\operatorname{earnMultiplier}(bank)= 5000 / (bank * 10)

That means if you have 10,000 DP then:

5,000 / (100,000) \\ = 0.05 \\ = \text{5% multiplier}

DP Payout

DP payout is calculated using the following (the number 3000 is from the above table):

\operatorname{payout(round)} = \begin{cases} 10 + {3000 \over (1 + e^{-0.6 * (round - 15)}}, & \text{if round > 3} \\ 0, & \text{if round is } \le \text{3} \end{cases}

Graph

XP

XP payout is calculated using the following (the number 10000 is from the above table):

\operatorname{payout(round)} = \begin{cases} 1000+\frac{10000}{\left(e^{-0.25\cdot(round-15)}+1\right)}, & \text{if round < 10} \\ 1000+\frac{10000}{\left(e^{-0.25\cdot(-5)}+1\right)}, & \text{if round }\ge \text{10} \\ \end{cases}

When will the manual reviews happen for the rest of the maps?

So Zombies is the most efficient source of DP.
PvE and PvP are vastly inferior methods of DP-gain in comparison. . .

At the very least, after Zombies v1.27 is out.

Devil’s Reservoir
Heaven’s Hell

When I try to vote for the map ot states that there is no such map

For devil’s reservoir, just use /vote Devil and for Heaven’s Hell, only zombies map builders can play that (I think).

/vote Devil
/vote Heaven

Nope

Then both of them were taken out of public lobbies. They are only accessible if you have zombies map builder permissions.

r u sure winter’s howl is certified?

You don’t earn DP or Exp in Winter’s Howl?

I don’t think so when I tested it.

EDIT: Nevermind WH gives DP

What if ZM (Zombies Managers) can review and add DP multipliers for maps? Would make time a lot faster

Nvm imma turn this into a real suggestion

The core DP multipliers have been updated and are now 6x higher roughly.

Maybe isn’t a lot but here is a small typo that may confuse

Here is mentioned "The daily gain limit is 4000DP

Howeber, a little bit ahead, says that after 2000 DP the multiplier is set to 0 (meaning that the limit is 2000DP)

I wanted to do the complete quote, but for some reason doesn’t works the quote button
But is in the “Earn multipliers” Section

Updated Map Multipliers, DP Gain Limit and the DP Payout Graph.

By the way, I’m going through maps and assigning their multipliers based on playing in random lobbies. Then they can be adjusted over time based on whether the multiplier turns out to be too high or too low. This is why so far only a few maps have been added explicitly. Any map covered by the all others row is simply not something I have played on and assigned a value to yet.

I’ve noticed that the reward table for zombies claims “1000 XP and 3000 DP per completed round”, but I only ever rarely get a few DP after dealing certain amounts of damage. What’s going on? I have both member and crew.
